Klövern sells two properties

Klövern has sold two properties, located in Linköping and Västerås, for SEK 66 million. The positive change in value amounts to SEK 8m, of which SEK 5m will be recognised during the fourth quarter of 2009 and SEK 3m during the first quarter of 2010.

The office property Dalmasen 2, situated on Storgatan in Linköping, contains, among other tenants, the travel agency Linköpings resebyrå and the opticians SE Optik. The buyer is Lindsténs Cityfastigheter AB and possession of the property was transferred on 15 January 2010.

The housing and retail property Knut 26, situated on Vasagatan in Västerås, contains, among other tenants, the pharmacy Apoteket AB and the clothing store Solo Kläder. The property was bought by a local property owner and possession of the property will be transferred on 1 February 2010.

“It feels good that the transactions market is starting to move again and that it is possible to carry out transactions with a good profit. The greatest interest among purchasers was from local players”, says Klövern’s CEO Gustaf Hermelin. “These sales of two small and solitary properties entail a concentration of the portfolio in the respective market.”
