Klövern signs a 10-year lease with IP-Only AB in Uppsala

The lease contract encompasses close to 3,200 sq.m. and means that the two upper newly built office floors (floor 6 and  7) are now fully let. The total rental value for the period amounts to over SEK 90 million. The tenant will move into the premises on 1 November 2015.

The property, the former post office building (gamla Posthuset), is located in central Uppsala, right by the central station, Uppsala city hall and the new travel interchange.

IP-Only AB is a Swedish infrastructure operator that builds, operates and owns network fiber infrastructure in the Nordic region. The company’s head office is already located in Uppsala.

“IP-Only is investing heavily in the expansion of an open and neutral fiber network infrastructure across Sweden. Our move into new, larger premises is a part of this expansion as we see a need to recruit more people in the coming years in order to keep up the pace of fiber expansion. The proximity to good communications is an important part of the choice of the former post office building for our new head office”, says IP-Only’s CEO Mikael Philipsson.

Previously the County Administrative Board has signed a six-year lease for 3,800 sq.m. in the same building, with moving-in in May 2015. Negotiations with additional tenants regarding the remaining space in the property is in progress.
